Go Fetch! New online pet store from Ocado launches across Britain

May 8, 2014

Pet lovers of Britain rejoice; Fetch has arrived! Following a successful regional trial, fetch.co.uk, the online pet store from Ocado, is now delivering to homes across the UK.

Fetch is a standalone online pet store currently stocking more than 8,000 products, ranging from food and treats to specialist healthcare, toys, bed accessories, and much more for a whole host of animals including dogs, cats, birds as well as smaller animals including rabbits, guinea pigs and even chickens.

Fetch offers customers an extensive range at a competitive price point. The site regularly monitors prices to ensure customers always receive the products they want at prices they can trust. With prices starting at just 49p and free delivery when customers spend £10 or more, Fetch is set to revolutionise the way Britain shops for its furry and feathered friends, with the added benefits of excellent customer service and the unrivalled convenience of next day delivery in hourly slots from 6am – 11:30pm.

With an extensive range of specialist food on the site, pet owners can browse key brands including: Hills, Royal Canin and James Wellbeloved. Other brands such as Nature’s Menu offer grain-free options that are also free from preservatives and artificial colours. Popular brands available onsite include: Frontline, Kong, Feliway, Adaptil, Beco Things and Pooch & Mutt.

The site allows owners to create personalised profiles for their pets meaning the pet becomes the customer. This saves information for future shops based upon key factors such as weight and health condition to help filter product suggestions.

James Matthews, Director of Non Food at Ocado, said:

Britain is famous as a nation of pet lovers and we’ve seen real demand for high quality, great value pet care products and so fetch.co.uk was born. We know that pets are very much part of the family and we’ve designed Fetch to help our customers’ pets lead full, healthy and happy lives.”

As well as stocking the large national brands everybody knows and loves, Fetch continues the brand legacy of Ocado; supporting smaller British brands, such as Billy + Margot, who secured investment on Dragons’ Den in 2012.

Fetch is open to existing Ocado and non-Ocado customers. For more information, head to: fetch.co.uk
