Online supermarket Ocado surprises local Halifax hero for Mother’s Day.
Judith Priestley, a mum from Halifax, enjoyed a Mother’s Day gift with a difference this year when she was treated to a special surprise delivery from Ocado. Along with her weekly shop, the driver was accompanied by a professional beautician who treated Judith to a special pampering session and bag full of luxurious beauty goodies sold through the retailer. Judith was named one of six Ocado Beauty Queens as part of the online supermarket’s Mother’s Day initiative which searched the UK for deserving mums to be rewarded and pampered.
Judith was nominated as an Ocado Beauty Queen by her daughter Gemma. Gemma reveals that her mother is an inspiration as, recently retired; Judith helps Gemma look after her first child as Gemma was recently diagnosed with Bells Palsy.
Judith has faced many challenges, as recently her partner fell and broke his femur meaning that she now cares for him also. Judith also manages to finds the time to travel 45 miles, two days a week to care for her grandchild. Judith has stayed strong throughout and is always there when her family need her.
