New Ocado hub brings 200 permanent jobs to South West London

Online supermarket Ocado has announced plans for a new 56,947 square foot delivery hub in Hillingdon, South West London, creating 200 new jobs.

Based in Stockley Close, the site will be home to around 90 of Ocado’s iconic brightly coloured vans when it opens in October. The opening is part of the retailer’s continued expansion across Greater London, fuelled by soaring consumer demand and the boom in online grocery shopping. Ocado announced a profit of £7 million earlier this year and now serves more than 471,000 customers across the UK.

Ocado is now recruiting for 200 friendly drivers on a permanent basis to deliver shopping into customers’ homes throughout the week and during all seasons. Candidates must hold an EU or UK driving licence and share a passion for delivering award-winning customer service.
