The Ocado Smart Platform is live in South Korea with Lotte

Lotte is now live with the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) in South Korea, launching a new online service “Lotte-Mart Zetta” to customers across the country.

In November 2022, Ocado Group announced a partnership with Lotte Shopping to develop its online business in South Korea using the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP). 

Under the partnership, Ocado and Lotte plan to operate a network of six automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) across South Korea, as well as deploy Ocado’s AI-powered In-Store Fulfilment (ISF) solutions in Lotte stores.

This week, we reached a major milestone in the partnership with the launch of Lotte’s new online proposition. Zetta is powered by Ocado’s end-to-end solutions, including cutting-edge webshop functionality, AI-powered fulfilment software for stores, and last-mile routing technology. 

The first CFC, serving the Busan region, is due to go live in early 2026. This and future sites will be equipped with Ocado’s latest Re:Imagined automation, enabling Lotte to continually enhance the quality of service they provide, as well as the efficiency of their online operations.

Announcing the launch of Lotte’s new Zetta app, Kim Sang-hyun, CEO of Lotte Mart and Super, said:
