Ocado Retail fulfils customer grocery orders from seven Customer Fulfilment Centres and a network of spokes around the UK. It delivers to geographies spanning 82% of the UK population (22.4m households).
Upon completion of the JV, Ocado Retail also became an Ocado Solutions partner, enabling it to continue delivering a compelling online grocery retail offer with full access to Ocado Group's proprietary technology.

Partnership Milestones
Ocado Retail Limited has committed to building a UK-wide network of CFCs across CFCs, mini CFCs, and Zoom sites.
Ocado Retail’s first CFC opened in Hatfield in 2002, followed by Dordon in 2013, and Erith in 2018. The first mini CFC opened in Bristol in 2021. Three further CFCs have since gone live; Andover, Purfleet and Bicester.
Following a network capacity review in 2023, Ocado Retail made the decision to cease trading at Hatfield, our oldest CFC, and Leeds Zoom. The cessation of operations at Hatfield will help to improve the profitability of Ocado Retail as throughput is transferred to more efficient, automated CFCs, primarily Luton, which opened in 2023. The strategy and capacity review for the Zoom network will seek to further optimise the utilisation of its London properties.
